about

I want to send a special thanks to these people for helping me in one way or another with this album.

Bakiya Taylor for having all the patience in the world and the ability to evolve into a night owl.
Sheri Jones (mom) for always pushing me to be greater and believing in me and loving me unconditionally, I just can’t thank her enough. She’s bought me countless pieces of software and hardware and she continues to support my passion for music. Being there for me, and Teaching me to cook in the kitchen, that gave me more patience and taught me the difference of real food and really good food. You tease me for all my hypochondriac moments, but most of all you support my desire to be an entrepreneur, I believe that you really instilled this in me. To be a natural born hustler.

My Dad (steve jones) for giving me endless amounts of strength and courage and for always being there.
For helping me find who I truly am as an artist and as a person. For molding me into a reader (a bookworm) and for pushing me harder everyday to be the best. You (dad) had the biggest shoes to fill and I ended up being flooded with the feeling of I have to create because I won’t always be here which is what eventually brought on the feelings of achievement and success. To the point where I too now have big shoes to fill. You gave me something that many black kids don’t get to have *A Father. Not only did you raise a man, but you gave me the secret to success at a young age, which took me years to discover. You passed down your emotional drive and that one thing that I love the most is the enthusiasm you gave me and of course the music and books you ingrained in me that created a wildfire of imagination in my mind. One trait that you passed down to me that I am most appreciative of is responsibility. You pushed me to follow my instincts and film more and rap less and if I was going to rap you said I should read more and more so that I can be knowledgeable like The Roots was on history and literature and to tell stories. You always inspired me to make everyday a better day. You would stress about my smoking mayjane because you knew how much it led to a pipe dream that never came true. I just have to Thank you for that, it would behoove me not to… You taught me how to study by writing down words and writing their definition and you also taught me what to study. You made a way for me to be what, and who I am today musically and physically and emotionally. I thank you for all the books you may have picked up in you travels and put your stamp on and never finished that I now completed for you. For all the books you suggested and all the times you suggested that I should study my favorite film director Robert Rodriguez more. You were my biggest support and I want to thank you for being hard on me. I could’ve quit and been stuck on drugs and addicted to something, or a beggar, but I knew that I couldn’t fail because the failure makes me greater. I’m your success story if you ever felt like you didn’t succeed just look at your son. You were the best Dad I could ever ask for. You taught me to love my Black people and to believe I had what it takes to succeed. Even after death you are still teaching me. Even though I didn’t listen much to your wise words as you were alive, in your ancestral life I hear you and I follow your voice wherever I go. It’s because of you and your words of motivation to me long ago that I am a storyteller today. You said to me, quote Brother you have a gift for telling stories through pictures and video, never stop doing that. Unquote.

My Cousin Jordan for always being a warrior and going against the grain to show others how to be a maverick and stand behind your word. You (Jordan) always inspire me to motivate others thru my music and my media making talents. You always tell me I’m great but you also say I can be greater and you give me a few pointers on how to be greater. You(Jordan) keep me on my game and you’re not afraid to say I love you. So for that jbnzo I love you. You helped make me a man, a maverick and a

I wanna thank God for giving these many amazing abilities, and a message to spread.
I’m very thankful for those that introduced me into music and not just hip hop but all genres
To anyone that ever suggest a song I should hear, or a word I should look up or even an artist/song, I want to thank you.
